Skilled Worker Visa Types & Basic Requirements

There have been many queries on skilled worker related subclasses in recent weeks; questions ranging from when Australia will re-open for foreign travellers to qualifications of foreign workers coming to Australia. Some of these questions are difficult to answer because while Australia maybe doing well in controlling the pandemic virus, it is hard to know when the pandemic will end. Regardless, for those who are interested to apply for immigration, it is never too soon to start reviewing their situation and begin preparing for application.

Based on some of the recent inquiries, it seems many prospective applicants are unclear of the basic requirements for Skilled Worker related visas. The table below is designed to highlight the basic requirements and clarify some of the confusions.
